Joseph “Joe Roc” Hamilton is the founder of Mix Tape Ballers, a basketball entertainment brand dedicated to bringing exciting/friendly competition and positive community events to schools, churches and businesses throughout New York City and beyond.
Basketball has been a part of Joe Roc’s life since he was a teenager. He played point guard at Samuel Gompers High School, where he developed his leadership, court vision, and passion for the game.
Standing 5’8”, Joe has always believed that heart, hustle, and basketball IQ matter more than height. Throughout the years, he has competed in more than 50 basketball tournaments, gaining experience against a wide variety of talent and styles of play.
Joe also spent time with the Harlem Rockets as part of the team’s taxi squad, continuing to sharpen his skills while staying connected to high-level competition.
Growing up, Joe’s favorite player was Kobe Bryant. Kobe’s relentless work ethic, competitive spirit, and “Mamba Mentality” continue to inspire the way Joe approaches basketball, business, and leadership.
Today, Joe Roc is focused on building Mix Tape Ballers into one of the premier basketball entertainment brands in the country—creating unforgettable events, giving players a platform to shine, and using the game to bring communities together.
